                                  TOKYO TRIP- PART 1

Day 2

Shibuya-Harajuku-Omotesando

On the second day I visited Shibuya. It is also a major shopping district of Tokyo and a centre for youth fashion and culture. One can find the youths wearing all types of "funky" stuff there. The shibuya crossing is the busiest in the world. It is also famous for Shibuya 109 which is a trend setting store. Harajuku is at a walking distance from Shibuya and is also a shopping district. The famous Takeshita street is in Harajuku. It is a pedestrian only street and consists of several small shops selling traditional Japanese items. The 100 yen shop can also be found here. It sells all items for 108 yens(100 yens+8% tax). Omotesando is a nearby upscale shopping district. It houses some of the biggest brands in the world like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gap, etc. For the vegetarians, there is a Subway outlet in omotesando.
